Marita Sanguinetti
MA, the director of the
BIODANZAsrt School of
Devon & Cornwall UK, leads the BIODANZAsrt Ensemble
of London & SW UK. The ensemble consists of seven artists who
have been working professional BIODANZAsrt dancers
for the last 10 years plus, and a selection of students of
the BIODANZAsrt School of
Devon & Cornwall.
The BIODANZAsrt Ensemble's new work offers the audience a rare opportunity to break the boundaries that keep them from knowing themselves better and living the life they desire and deserve.
The piece offers all who take part an opportunity to see themselves, others and the world in ways that help them gain insight into what they want to create for themselves in their daily lives. The dances of specifically designed as metaphors through which the dancer can experience the performance with more clarity and truth. The audience is invited to enter a safe space of dance, music and emotion, where their perception is enhanced in three main ways.
Firstly, rather than remain in the passive physical state that is usually required of us as an audience, every one is called upon to move and take part in the performance. Secondly the audience will perceive them selves, each other and the members of the ensemble with whom they are dancing from a new perspective, where they are part of the dynamic of the group and involved with the dimensions of the space they jointly share with the group. Lastly the audience and the members of the ensemble will experience this creative space as representing their world and from this setting see how to relate to every aspect of themselves, other sentient beings and our planet in positive, harmonious and healthy ways. All of the above is made possible by encouraging the dancers to enter fully into the space that is offered, as if there is no other moment in time but the present. From this starting point the movements of the piece helps us dissolve the stresses and tensions that get in the way and stop us realising our true potential as dancers and human beings.
I am very happy to announce that The BIODANZAsrt Ensemble of London & The South West UK has been invited by the Royal Festival Hall London to submit our latest piece 'Breathing Space'.
The ensemble is looking for people who would be committed to working closely with our professional team of BIODANZAsrt Professionals, fine artists and accomplished designers and filmmakers to make a film of the piece as well as be part of the Ensemble live tour.
The audition is now open to any one who is interested in BIODANZAsrt. For more information please contact Marita.
